The main objective of this study was to use the DEMATEL technique to design a model of the components of sense of place in sports environments for the level of children's participation in sports.This research was a descriptive-applied that was conducted in the field. The statistical population of this study consisted of fifteen university professors, sports science specialists, and sports coaches. To collect data, the components of sense of place were extracted from the sense of place questionnaire and used in the form of 15 questionnaires designed using the DEMAT method (square matrix). The results showed that in the model of the components of sense of place in sports environments, the factors of satisfaction, security and safety, reduction of mental problems, and creation of an emotional bond with the place were influential, and the factors of self-confidence, respect for the place, survival and sustainability, and participation and development in the place were impressionable. It is concluded that considering the child's sense of security and safety when arranging the sports space and creating a space that strengthens the child's attachment and creates a strong emotional bond with the sports space can solved the problem and increase the level of children's participation in sports.
