The purpose of this study was to analyze and analyze the performance and status of the football academy of the Nowshahr Municipality Club. This applied research was conducted using a descriptive-analytical method. The statistical population of the study included all football experts in the city of Nowshahr, and the sample was selected purposefully from managers and board experts, university professors, coaches, and veteran players (n=60). The research tool was developed by the researcher based on an exploratory study and rewriting of similar foundations and studies, and its content validity was confirmed by experts' opinions and its reliability was confirmed by Cronbach's alpha (α=0.851). The Friedman test, weighting method, and internal and external factor evaluation matrix were used to analyze the findings and appropriate strategies. The results of the study showed that the financial and organizational support of the Nowshahr Municipality for the football club academy, the poor management of the football club in the past, the increase in public interest in grassroots football in the city of Nowshahr, and the migration of talented players to large cities or Premier League teams were identified as the most important strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats, respectively. Also, based on the score of the matrix of internal factors (2.25) and external factors (2.43), the strategic status of Nowshahr Municipality football is in the WT region.
