Professionalism includes the behaviors, intentions, and characteristics that describe an individual in their work and career. The present research was conducted with the aim of investigating the relationship between professionalism and the talent management process of physical education teachers. The research method was descriptive-correlational. The statistical population consisted of approximately 130 physical education teachers in District 5 of Isfahan, and 84 individuals were selected as the sample using Morgan's table through simple random sampling. The research instruments were two questionnaires: Talent Management based on Armstrong's model (2006) and Professionalism by Karimi (2012). Hypothesis analysis was performed using SPSS22 software.
The results showed that, with a 95% confidence level, there is a positive and significant relationship between the specialization dimension of physical education teachers' professionalism (sig < 0.05) and talent management. However, the relationship between the organizational commitment dimension of physical education teachers' professionalism (sig > 0.05) and talent management was not confirmed. The results of the third hypothesis also indicated that there is no significant difference in professionalism among physical education teachers based on gender, and the research hypothesis was accepted.
It seems that if human talents are properly identified for future positions as physical education teachers and prepared through diverse educational and training programs, it can significantly impact their retention and the creation of a dynamic and vibrant environment in schools.
